In a former life, Tim worked in the currency derivative markets in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo – an experience that drove him to drink – he discovered a passion for wine. He left the financial markets to pursue his ‘calling’, and gained extensive experience in the wine business, from running his own wine buying and education company, to wine making, grape growing and facilitating investments in vineyards and wineries. A native of England, Tim has traveled all over the world to wineries and vineyards in France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa. Tim has an Honors Graduate from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust; the foremost international body in wine education.
